Helen E. Kohler

CUYAHOGA FALLS- Helen Elizabeth Kohler, 96, passed away November 25, 2023. She was born on September 22, 1927, to Adam and Helen Bauer. She graduated from Kenmore High School in June 1945 and married Thomas R. Kohler on June 28, 1947.

Preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Helen Bauer; husband of 49 years, Thomas R. Kohler; siblings, Adam “Eddie” Bauer, Agnes Walker and Anna Zupko. She is survived by her children, Marie Pickel, Thomas (Diana) Kohler and Barbara (Charles) Weakland; grandchildren, Max (Michele) Pickel, Kimberley (Shaun) Fogle, Christina (Dan) Price, Jennifer (Pat) Folk and Sarah (Andrew) Caruso; also 10 greatgrandchildren.

Helen worked for Lawson’s/Dairymart, retiring January 4, 1981. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Cuyahoga Falls, the Firestone Primetimers, Falls Travel Club and loved golfing, playing cards and bingo. 

Visitation will be held from 10 AM-12 PM, with a funeral service immediately following at 12 PM on Tuesday December 5, 2023 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
