Jack Kautenberger

CUYAHOGA FALLS -Jack R. Kautenberger, 85, died October 13, 2005. Mr. Kautenberger was born in Akron and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls for 53 years, moving there from Akron. He had worked as a plumber out of Local 219 Plumber and Pipe Fitters Union and was a Veteran of WW2 having served with the U. S. Air Force. He had volunteered for the Cuyahoga Falls Fire and Rescue Squad and the Cuyahoga Falls Police Reserves.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy E. and is survived by his daughter, Jacklyn of Cuyahoga Falls; sister, Dorothy Perez of Fairlawn; brother, Jim (Sue) Kautenburger of Leesburg, FL and niece and nephews, Debbie Zanyor, Jim Kautenberger, Kevin Kautenberger and Bill Perez.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Monday, Rev. Paul Meduri officiating. Memorials may be made to Community Health Center Foundation 702 E. Market St. Akron, OH 44305.
