Jack Myers

JACKSON TOWNSHIP– Jack (Ray, Doc) Myers, 73, passed away June 11, 2018. He was born in Akron and resided in Jackson Township for the past 20 years. Jack was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the U.S. Army, receiving a Purple Heart.

Preceded in death by his father, George R. (Joan); mother, Catherine and brother, Richard L; he is survived by his fiancée and partner of 12 years, Charlene Boivin; sister, Lori (Jerry) Mellinger; nephews; Michael (Jamie), Jeff (Suzi); niece, Jennifer (Eric); great-nieces and nephews, Morgan, Madison, Marcus, Natalija, Andrew, Elena; Charlene’s children and grandchildren that he loved as his own, Jason Boivin (Nicole), Nathan Boivin, Zachary Boivin, Sarah Battaglia (Nick); grandchildren, Jason Frick, Julia Frick, Jacob Boivin, Jillian Boivin, Eleanor Battaglia.

Cremation has taken place and memorial calling will be held from 5-8 PM on Tuesday June 19, 2018 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.  A military service will be at 12 noon on Wed. 6/20/2018 at Northlawn Memorial Gardens In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
