Jacqueline Viola, age 82, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025. Jackie was born on May 10, 1943, in Akron, Ohio. She was a homemaker, school crossing guard, and retired from the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library.
Preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles, parents Stanley and Maple Markulis, and sister Sandra Morgan. She is survived by her children, Joe (Denise) Viola of Green, Chris (Liz) Viola of Wilmington, DE and Wendy Viola of Stow; brother and sister-in-law Donald and Kathy Markulis; sister-in-law Sarah Mohn and husband William; sister-in-law Thelma Viola; grandchildren, Nathan (Chelsea), Zachary, Julia, Madeline and Isabella; great grandchildren, Oakley and Marleigh, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Jackie loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. Anyone who would visit her home would walk in as a friend or stranger and leave as family. She loved tending to her garden beds, and her cat, Cuddles. Later in life she loved her bird feeders, and everything gnomes.
The family would like to thank the staff of Bath Creek Estates in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio for all their care and support for Jackie over the last several years.
Guests are welcome for visitation on Saturday, October 11, 2025, 10:00am to 12:00pm at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. A private burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery.
