James Joseph Sorboro

Cuyahoga Falls- James Sorboro, 85, passed away March 1, 2022. He was born in Ravenna, OH to the late Domenic and Carmella Sorboro and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 65 years. Jim was a 1954 graduate of Ravenna High School going on to earn an Associate Degree from Kent State University. He retired from the Brecksville Veteran’s Hospital after 30 years of service. Jim was happiest spending time with family, cooking and making sure everyone was well fed. His great sense of humor will be deeply missed.

Preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Joseph, Julia, Angelo, William, Peter, Carl and Dolly; he is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty; children, Susan Woods, David (Cindy), Ann (Ken) Stanley, John (Kari), Linda Lyons (Kyle Hawkins) and Julie (Craig) Stacy; 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Luis (Nancy) and Elizabeth James and many nieces and nephews.
