Cuyahoga Falls - Janet Mae Robb, 90, went home to Jesus, on May 3, 2018. Janet was raised in one of the first houses built on Ohio St, and a lifelong Cuyahoga Falls resident, graduating from Falls High in 1945. Janet worked as a dedicated employee, assistant and office manager for Dr. Andrew Opritza, retiring in 1989. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth P.; survived by children, Kathryn Howells, Patricia (Chuck) Marks, Lauren Bishop and Kenneth, Jr. (Midge); grandchildren, Kelin (Jeff) Newkirk, Matthew (Chris) Howells, Tina Marie Engler Keen (David), Randy (Laura) Thompson, Kendra (Nick) Rumschlag, Briana Bishop, Gabrielle Bishop, Naomi Bishop, John Bishop, Abagail (Chuck) North, Camille Robb, Nathaniel Robb, Madeline Robb; great-grandchildren, Addison, Maxx, Olivia, Levi, Jade, Faith, Blake, Evan, Jai'sin, Jai'den, Kaylee and Charlie; siblings Jean Spoerndle, Charles Gough, Jr. and Carol Watson.
Friends may call two hours prior to a 1 PM funeral service on Thursday May 10, 2018 at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron 7996 Darrow Rd. Twinsburg, OH 44087 or a charity of your choice.
