John E. Heffern

John E. Heffern, 68, died peacefully March 19, 2023 at his residence. John was born in E. Cleveland, OH and had resided in Norton the past 6 years, moving there from Akron. He had attended the University of Akron where he was a member of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity and was owner of H&M Lawn Maintenance.

Preceded in death by his parents, Gordon E. and Neva Mae Heffern, he is survived by his son, Tom Heffern (Lyndsey Kirk) of Akron, daughters, Mary Heffern of Akron and Elizabeth Mae Derby (Cole) of CA; granddaughter, Hazel;  twin brother, Robert (Diane) of Akron; brother, Richard Todd (Nicole) of Cleveland; sister, Kathy (Craig) Maddex of Akron and several nieces and nephews.

John had requested there be no calling hours or services. Final resting place Cooperstown Cemetery in Cooperstown, PA. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to your favorite charity in his memory.
