John Donald Tomko "Don"

John Donald Tomko “Don”, 87, went home to be with the Lord on September 9,2025. Don was born to the late John and Anna Tomko. Don was proud to have served his country in the United States Army. Don had a long and successful career in Engineering Management at B.F Goodrich, including international assignments. He enjoyed gardening, boating, fishing, traveling with his wife Joy, and spending time with friends and family. His true passion was spending time with his grandchildren and being their biggest supporter.

He was preceded in death by his beloved son Don and his sister Dorothy Ference.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 64 years, Joy; children, David (Cheryl) Tomko, Julie Brecht; grandchildren, Brynn, Skyler, Anna, Calli, Libby, Chase, Chloe; and many other family and friends.

In lieu of other memorials please make donations to St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 2121 6thStreet, Cuyahoga Falls 44221.

There will be a visitation on Friday September 12, 2025 from 1:30pm to 3pm with a Funeral service immediately following at 3pm at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 2121 6th Street, Cuyahoga Falls 44221. Burial will take place at a later date in Hermitage, PA.
