Juana "Jennie" Morrison, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on April 23, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on April 19, 1944, in Holly, Colorado, Jennie lived a life filled with love, hard work, and cherished family moments. She was a dedicated wife to Robert P. Morrison and a proud mother of three sons: Rob & Andrea Morrison, John & Sherry Morrison, and William Morrison. Jennie's legacy continues through her grandchildren, Courtney, Will, Chelsea, Naomi, Sierra, John Michael, and Chad, as well as her great-grandchildren, Liam, Ellie, Jack, Joslyn, and Jalissia, and her brothers and sisters, Alvin & Gloria Solorzano, Sally & Ted Muniz, Frankie & Joanna Hernandez, and her cousin George & Loretta Solorzano.
Jennie's diverse career spanned from her early days as a waitress to managing a department store warehouse and supervising at the Goodyear plant. She found great joy in running two flea markets, embracing the bustling life that kept her fully engaged. An industrious spirit, Jennie rarely sat still, always seeking to stay busy and make the most of every moment.
Though she faced the loss of her parents, Juan Solorzano and Carolina Pichard, and siblings Bernie, Domingo, John, Nick, and Cruz, Jennie remained a pillar of strength and love for her family. Her education extended beyond the classroom, she also pursued her passion for flying by attending flight school to become a flight attendant. Juana worked in restaurant as a waitress, worked for Kaufmanns department store, then manager in their Warehouse, also worked for Goodyear plant supervisor of their janitorial department, also ran and owned 2 different Flea Markets which she loved doing! Jennie's greatest pride lay in her family; she loved deeply and fiercely, and her memory will forever reside in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
