Judith Kramer

Judith Ann Grugel-Kramer, age 88, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, passed away on August 3, 2025. Judy was born on March 4, 1937, to Sally and Buck Bullis. Throughout her life, Judy was a beloved personality at the local Lawson’s which she managed, where she greeted friends and strangers with the same cheerful energy—and often a story to share. Her presence was impossible to miss, and she had a way of making every encounter memorable. Judy cherished her family and friends deeply, and she never missed an opportunity to show it. She also had a lifelong love for “her man,” as she fondly referred to Elvis Presley—his voice a constant in her heart and probably in the background of more than a few of her legendary conversations.

Judy is survived by her two daughters, Beverly Richter and Debbie Crockett; grandchildren, Michele Sears (Greg Sears), Jessica Roberts (Jay Saez) and Jeffery Crockett (Dana Haught); 7 greatgrandchildren; special friends for over 80 years, and neighbors Sara and H.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law Douglas Richter and grandson Greg Richter.

A visitation will be held on Thursday Aug 14, 2025, from 4pm to 7pm, at the Clifford Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front Street, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. On Friday Aug, 15, 2025, from 12pm to 1pm there will be a visitation with a funeral immediately following and officiated by Lea Mahan. A burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
