CUYAHOGA FALLS - Karen Sue McGinnis, 48, passed away September 28, 2004.
Mrs. McGinnis was born in Akron, Ohio and resided in Cuyahoga Falls the past 15 years. She was a graduate of East High School and worked as a presser in the dry cleaning business with her family.
Karen was a loving, caring, kindhearted person. She was always there for us in our time of need and put others first. She has touched many people's lives and will be missed by her family and friends more than words can express.
Preceded in death by her husband, Gregory J.; father, Fred Beers; mother and step-father Connie and Gary Palmer; she is survived by her brother and sisters, Sharon Henrick of Cuyahoga Falls, Darla (James) Meador of Akron, Fred (Kathy) Beers of Akron and Cindy (Gary) Page of Medina; many nieces and nephews; 6 great nieces and great nephews; brother-in-law Pat (Cathy) McGinnis and her dog Champ.
Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday and 1 hour prior to service time in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, where a funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Pastor Sherman Bailey officiating. Interment Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
