Karen Taucher

Karen (Reichert) Taucher, 84, of Cuyahoga Falls died peacefully October 27, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Karen was born July 31, 1940, in Akron to Donald & Evelyn (Korn) Reichert. She graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High school. She received her bachelor's degree of Art from the University of Arizona. She received a master's degree in early childhood development from the University of Akron. During her life she had many careers. She was an art & home economics teacher, real estate agent, & a social worker.

She loved spending time with her family, making jewelry, pottery, cross stitching, cooking, & gardening.

Karen is survived by her husband of 38 years, Michael, sons Donald (Christine) & Harry Christopher Tausch, 11 grandchildren, & 4 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents & daughter-in-law Stephanie Tausch.

A celebration of her life will be January 4th, 2025 at 12pm, at First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls, where she was a lifelong member. Calling hours will be 10am-12pm before the service.
