Katherine Binkley

Katherine E. Binkley, 90, passed away December 1, 2021. She was born in Akron and resided in Portage Lakes before moving to Cuyahoga Falls. She was a member of the Turkeyfoot Sportsman Club. She enjoyed spending winters in Florida, and was an avid golfer.

Preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary (Beasley) Wilson; beloved husband, Michael Binkley; 5 siblings; two nephews and one niece. She is survived by children, Kristie Holland of Green, Cindy (Thomas) Brandt of Cuyahoga Falls and Kathy (Ed) Romito of Rootstown; grandchildren, Bill (Dawn) Brandt, Tommy Brandt and John (Lindsay) Holland; 6 nieces and 1 nephew.

Cremation has taken place and all services will be private. Katherine will be laid to rest with her husband at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
