STOW -Lawrence M. Harper, 64, died October 10, 2005. Mr. Harper was born in Detroit, MI and had resided in Stow the past 8 years, moving there from Cuyahoga Falls. He was the previous owner of Summit Financial Security for 12 years, had previously worked for Ford Consumer Finance and was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary where he had been a Eucharistic Minister for over 20 years. He had served with the U. S. Army and had been a member of BPOE 1923 and Cuyahoga Falls Moose and was a longtime blood donor. Larry loved to fish and bowl, was very proud of his boys and grandchildren, was a very giving person and loved to be with everyone.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mark Harper; brother, Greg Harper; sister, Cathy Creamer and granddaughter, Riley Grace Harper and is survived by his wife of 39 years, Lynn; sons, Mark (Michelle) of Stow, Kevin (Kara) of Munroe Falls, Matt of Chicago, IL and Brien of Ft. Worth, TX; grandchildren, Mark William, Andrew, Danielle, Christopher, Carson, Tristen and Maritza; mother, Rachel Harper Thompson and sister, Rachelle Harper, both of Michigan; brother, Joseph (Mary Ann) of Texas and is also survived by is his AA family.
The Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 pm Thursday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls. Mass of the Resurrection will be 11:00 am Friday in Immaculate Heart of Mary. The Family requests memorials be made to The Haven of Rest Ministries P.O.
