Linda Ann Pearson

Linda Ann Pearson, age 85, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 8, 1939, in Youngstown, Ohio.

After marrying the love of her life, Cliff, and welcoming their three children, Linda embraced her most treasured role as a devoted wife and mother. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to others touched countless lives. For decades, she gave her time and energy to organizations close to her heart, including over 40 years with Good Neighbors of Cuyahoga Falls, 30 years at Akron City Hospital, and several years with Meals on Wheels.

A woman of strong faith, Linda was a longtime member of Northminster Presbyterian Church, where she served as a Deacon, Elder, and Sunday School teacher. She was also actively involved in the Presbyterian Women Organization, forming many lasting friendships through her church community.

Linda was preceded in death by her birth mother, Mabel Johnson (née Beckman), who passed away during childbirth, and by her parents, Carl and Leoma Johnson.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 64 years, Cliff Pearson; children, Scot Pearson (Barb Sininger), Deborah Pearson, and Kevin Pearson (Kathy Hale); grandchildren, Faith (Ryan) Pearson-Church, Ethan Pearson, and Logan Pearson; sister, Kari (Bill) Howells; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family both in the United States and Sweden.

A service celebrating Linda’s life will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 104 W. Portage Trail Ext., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223. Family and friends are invited to visit with the family beginning at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. A private interment will take place at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
