CUYAHOGA FALLS -Louis Alex Wydo, 77, died November 3, 2004. Mr. Wydo was born in Red Jacket (Sophia), WV and was a longtime resident of Cuyahoga Falls. He was a graduate of Kent State University and had been a school teacher for the Cuyahoga Falls Board of Education from 1956 to 1988 teaching at Lincoln Elementary and Bolich Middle School. He was a veteran of WW2 and Korea having served with the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 48 1/2 years, Darlene; son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Nancy Wydo of Heath, OH; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Dr. Norman Lefkovitz of Fairlawn; beloved grandchildren, Salina and Zachary Wydo and Lauren and Landon Lefkovitz and sisters, Mary Kenney of Falls Church, VA and Irene Jurscaga of Newport News, VA. He was the youngest of 13 siblings.
There will be no calling hours. A Funeral Service for the Family was conducted at The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home with interment in Northlawn Memorial Gardens. The Family suggests memorials be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation 4500 Rockside Road Suite 420 Cleveland, OH 44131.
