Marcia Ellen Miller

Marcia Ellen Miller, 89, born September 23, 1932 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio

daughter of Frederick Christian Wittibslager and Marjorie Mae Wittibslager

passed away on September 10, 2022.

Marcia graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High in June 1950. Marcia worked at

various secretarial jobs after graduation, including: B.F. Goodrich, Akron Board of Education, and Cuyahoga Falls Electric Company. Marcia went on to serve 20 years as a grade school secretary at Schnee and Newbury Elementary Schools from 1969 to 1989.

Marcia met Herbert Lee Miller at a dance, and they married on October 15, 1955 and celebrated 60 years of marriage before Herb's death in 2016.  Marcia was a longtime member of the United Presbyterian Church in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and enjoyed cards, gardening, traveling, and reading.

Marcia is survived by son, Mark (Debbie) Miller of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and daughter, Sharon (Doug) Jennings of Columbus Ohio; and two grandchildren, Andrew and Katherine Jennings. Marcia was predeceased by her parents, brother John Wittibschlager, and sister, Joan Boughton.

The family would like to thank Danbury Woods Memory Care and Kindred Hospice for their excellent care.

A funeral service will be held at United Presbyterian Church in Cuyahoga Falls on Thursday September 15, 2022, at 11 am, with Pastor Chris McCurdy officiating.
