Margaret Jean Marino

Margaret Jean Marino, long-time resident of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2022 at the age of 88.  Margaret was born on September 22, 1933 in Philippi, West Virginia, daughter of the late Benton and Ruth (Moore) Lantz.  She was a graduate of Central High School and devoted her time to raising her 5 boys.  Margaret enjoyed the connections she made while working as a waitress for 70 years.  She met many friendly faces serving the community at Dodie's Cafe in Highland Square, Dale's Restaurant and Village Garden Restaurant & Pub.

She is survived by her sons, Joseph, Vincent (Laurie White), Michael (Jennifer), Amedio (Stacey), and Anthony Marino; grandchildren, Heather, Paul, Amedio (Michelle), Erin, Enzo, Lola, and Rocco Marino, and numerous great-grandchildren and extended family members.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 3:15pm at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
