Marilyn L. Bowen

Marilyn L. Bowen, longtime resident of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away August 21, 2023 at the age of 76. Marilyn was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, daughter of the late William and Ethel (Wood) Clifton. Marilyn was very thoughtful, fiercely independent and quite selfless, always seeking to put others before herself. She was generous and kind, and truly loved nothing more than spending time with her cherished family.  

She will be dearly missed by her children, Patrick Bowen, Jr. and Ann Marie Bowen; grandchildren, J.B., Justin, and Tiffany Bowen; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Frederick (Jeannett), Stephen, Gregory (Ladina), Stacy (Kevin) Shackelford, and Theresa Albinger; along with many extended family members.

Per Marilyn's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.  She will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery.
