Martha Tschantz

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Martha R. Tschantz, 93 passed away July 20, 2005.
Mrs. Tschantz was born in Roanoke, Alabama, graduated from Akron Central High School and attended Hammel-Actual Business College. She had resided in Stow the past 9 years after living in Cuyahoga Falls for 56 years. She worked as an executive secretary for the Ohio Department of Health for 20 years and was a member of the Cuyahoga Falls United Methodist Church where she was an officer in the Sarah Circle. She was a loving mother and devoted her life to her husband for 62 years.
Preceded in death by her son, Richard; and husband, Harold; she is survived by her children, William J. and Patricia Tschantz of Eastlake, and Carol and Dr. Kenneth Holec of Madison CT; grandchildren, William (Mei) Tschantz, Jeffrey (Kameron) Tschantz, Krista (Michael) Kolich, Scott (Julie) Holec, Todd (Marrianne) Holec and Matthew (Andrea) Holec; seven great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Grace Hausch of Tallmadge and Ruth (Jim) Sendelbach of Stow; and brother-in-law Floyd Tschantz.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Final resting place Oakwood Cemetery. The family requests memorials to the Gifts and Memorial Fund, First United Methodist Church, 245 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221-3274 in her memory.
