Mary E. Haidnick

Mary Haidnick, beloved sister, aunt and friend, passed away from complications of MS on June 22, 2023, at the age of 67.  She was a lifelong resident of Cuyahoga Falls and graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1974. She also received her Bachelor's Degree from The University of Akron and was previously employed by Alside for over 30 years.  

Mary was truly a selfless giving person who put the needs of others before herself. She was an avid sports fan and also loved being outdoors working in her yard.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Betty and George Haidnick.  She will be dearly missed by her sisters, Sue Habyan; Trish (Larry) Lawson, and brother, Andy (Roberta) Haidnick; niece, Lauren (Chris) Thompson and their children; nephew, Andrew Haidnick, and many cousins.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Gentiva Hospice, The Gardens of Cuyahoga Falls, and her dear friends for the special care they extended to her over the years.  

Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 11 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223.  Guests are welcome to visit with the family from 10:30-11 am, also at the church.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mary's memory to Falls Cancer Club, P.O. Box 3244, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223.
