Mary Elizabeth Lewis

Mary Elizabeth Lewis’s life on this earth came to a peaceful end on April 25, 2025.

Her journey began on October 25, 1931 in Warren, Ohio, daughter of Emma and Foster Corey. The family resided in Newton Falls but would soon move to Cuyahoga Falls, where Mary would then live the majority of her life.

She was a graduate of Defiance College where she met her late husband, of 72 years Arnold Lind Lewis, who passed in 2022.

Arnie and Mary, as they would come to be known, also made their home in Cuyahoga Falls raising 4 children; Erik (Trudi) Lewis, Shelley (Lynn) Gordon, Karl (Gloria) Lewis and Liesha (Kevin) Dickey. Her journey continued as Mary became a loving Nana to three Grandchildren: Laura (Milan) Ciric, Joshua (Erin) Dickey, and Lindsey (Brigham) VanEtten. As well as two Step Grandsons: Steven (Kori) Keating and Rory (Vanessa) Keating. She adored then becoming “Nana the Great” to Ema and Sofia Ciric, Cooper and Quinn Dickey, Lana and Ella Keating, Marchello and Ariana Keating, Abigail, Blythe and Claire Wing.

Mary Elizabeth’s journey included being a beloved In-Law, Cousin, Aunt and Dear Friend to so very many.

We all miss her, but celebrate the fact that she is now with Arnie and others that have passed before her and shall share her continued journey until we all meet again.
