Mary Smith King McDiffitt

Mary Smith King McDiffitt was born on October 9, 1938 and went to heaven on May 10, 2026. Mary was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and worked for the telephone company for many years before retiring.

Mary married Webb McDiffitt on March 12,1971 and remained so until her death.

She was preceded in death by two angel Children, her son Edward King and her daughter Diana McDiffitt. Also losing her mother and father, Gerald and Mary Smith along with brothers, Jerry and Bill Smith.

Surviving are 4 children, Sonny McDiffitt, Tina Kuhn, Sandy Mackey, and Bill McDiffitt. Step children, Paul King and Paula Birdy. Mary was also blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She will be laid to rest privately at Holy Cross Cemetery, Akron, OH. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in Mary's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, https://www.stjude.org/donate.
