Mary Kay Milush

CUYAHOGA FALLS- Mary Kay Milush, 78, passed away January 12, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Mary Kay was born on January 13, 1945, in Camp Landing, Florida to George and Margaret Hose. She attended University High School in Morgantown, WV. and was a 1964graduate. She went on to be a teachers aid for Cuyahoga Falls High School until her retirement. She met William “Bill” Milush in 1963 and shortly after graduation the two were married on October 17, 1964. They spent 53 years together until his passing in 2018.

Mary Kay enjoyed quilting with friends, coaching her daughters in softball and other youth in parks and rec. teams. She was involved in Canton-McKinley High School girls’ volleyball and basketball for many years. She loved to attend her grandsons’ sporting events. Mary Kay also loved traveling with her husband and friends.

Mary Kay was a devoted member of St. Eugene Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jackie Milush, William G. Milush and Amy (Patrick) McCartney; grandchildren, Nicholas, Caleb, and Quinn; great-grandchildren, Elliott and Elsie; and brother Mark (Barbara) Hose.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William “Bill”; brothers and sister, Mickey Hose, Jack Hose, Patty Churchill.

A visitation will be held Monday, January 22^nd, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 1821 Munroe Falls Ave., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, 44221. A memorial mass will take place directly following at 11:00 am.

In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to St. Eugene Catholic Church.
