Nanette Marie Knotts

Nanette Marie Knotts, 69, went home to be with the Lord on January 11, 2026. She was born on June 6, 1956, to the late Raymond and Helen Lafeber. Nanette was a 1974 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. After high school while working at Montgomery Ward she met the love of her life Rick and they spent the next 48 wonderful years together in Akron. Nanette and Rick went on to raise 2 daughters and they had 3 granddaughters. After their daughters went to school she went to work at Sears and eventually retired with many years of service to the community. Nanette loved to spend time with her grandchildren, they were her pride and joy. She also enjoyed going to Lake Erie, going to lunch and craft shows with her friends. Nanette will always be remembered for her larger than life personality and her want to always make sure everyone was taken care of.

She will be missed by her husband, Rick Knotts; daughters, Kelli (Andrew) Slater, Kristin (Brandon) Bowers; granddaughters, Avery Slater, Addison Slater and Briana Bowers; sister, Carol (Greg) Weimer; many other family and friends.

Cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
