Neil J. Bedford

Neil Bedford, 78, of Cuyahoga Falls passed away on March 25, 2022. 

Neil was born in Berea, OH to Ernest and Florence Bedford. He grew up in Cuyahoga Falls, OH and graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1961.  He earned an associates degree in Drafting and retired from Quickdraft. He was also a volunteer at Cuyahoga Falls Good Neighbors.

Neil loved all sports but his favorite was football, from Friday nights at the High School, Saturdays at Mount Union, and Sundays on the couch watching the Browns. He enjoyed being outside with his family and watching his grandchildren play.

Neil was preceded in death by parents Ernest & Florence Bedford, and brothers Richard, Douglas, and Robert Bedford. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Darlene Bedford; daughters, Dawn (George) Cusack, April (George) Davis; grandchildren, Lynn, Abby, Lilly, Ian, Eva, Mya; great grandchild, Rem.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cuyahoga Falls Good Neighbors or a charity of your choice.

There will be a visitation from 5pm to 7pm on Tuesday, March 29,2022, at the Clifford Shoemaker Funeral home, 1930 Front Street, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. A funeral service will be held March 30,2022, at 10am also at the Clifford Shoemaker Funeral Home. Following the service, interment will be held at Chestnut Hill Memorial park, 2613 Sackett Ave, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223.
