Nelda Kay Natcher, 77, of Brimfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2025, with the love of her life, Jeff, by her side.
Born on August 26, 1947, in Lamesa, Texas, Kay was the daughter of Virginia and Truman Howard. She built a beautiful life alongside her devoted husband of 59 years, Jeffrey L. Natcher. Together, they shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and partnership.
Kay was a proud and loving mother to her daughter Kimberly Todd (Jeff) and son Jeff Natcher (Darcy), and a cherished grandmother to Kylie, Nathan, Jeffrey, Josh, Nicholas, Talan, and Gage. She also leaves behind her beloved great-grandchildren: Kaigen, Kaizer, Kashton, Emmett, and Nora. Kay is survived by her siblings Edna Carter, Jack Howard, and Shain Howard, and was preceded in death by her loyal companion Lily, her beloved dog who brought her comfort and joy through many of life’s hardest days.
Family was at the center of Kay’s world. She especially loved gathering for holidays and special occasions, always bringing warmth and strength to those around her. Kay’s nurturing spirit made her a fiercely loving and protective mother and grandmother.
She found great joy in life’s simple pleasures—dining out with close friends, spending days on the golf course or at the bowling alley with Jeff, and caring for the many dogs that brought her happiness over the years. Her bond with her pets, especially Lily, was a testament to her deep empathy and kind heart.
Kay’s legacy of love, devotion, and resilience lives on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
At this time, no public services are planned. The family invites those who knew and loved Kay to remember her in their own special way. In honor of her deep love for animals, donations may be made to a local animal shelter or rescue organization of your choice.
