Patricia Johnson

Patricia “Pat” Johnson, 82, residing in Monroe Falls and formerly of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2023.  She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 16, 1941, daughter of the late Maurice and Mary Pinkerton.  Pat was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy and went on to receive her bachelor’s degree from Kent State University.  Pat spent her career as a teacher in the mental health field and retired from the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections.

Along with her parents, Pat was reunited with her beloved husband, Brian D. Johnson, who passed away in 2012, and her sister Charlene Haas.

She is survived by her sons, Matt (Liz) of Solon and Damian (Destina Moga) of Lakewood; grandchildren, Connor, Evan, and Bennett Johnson; siblings, Charles Pinkerton and Michelle Patterson; and numerous extended family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 11:00 am at Chestnut Hill Burial Park, 2613 Sackett Ave., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223.  In lieu of other remembrances, memorial donations may be made in Pat’s memory to Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care; crhcf.org.
