Paul R. Neal

CUYAHOGA FALLS- Paul R. Neal, 97, passed away in the early morning of January 13, 2024 with his loving family by his side.

Paul was born October 2, 1926, in Akron to the late Oscar and Julia Neal. He attended Buchtel High School and was a 1944 graduate. He served in the United States Navy for 2 years and was honorably discharged in 1945. He went on to become the director of marketing for Lawsons for many years until his retirement in 1997. He met Grace Wheatley in 1942, becoming High School sweethearts. They married in 1947 and they celebrated 50 years together until her passing in 1997.

Paul was an avid golfer and loved traveling to new courses all over the world. 

In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or Wounded Warrior Project.
