Paul J Williams, a longtime resident of the Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio area, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 25, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Akron, Ohio, in 1953.
Paul will be remembered for his warm smile, kind heart, and welcoming personality. He had a special way of making everyone feel comfortable and treated those around him like family. His kindness and genuine nature left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Paul dedicated more than 30 years of service to the City of Cuyahoga Falls Water Department, where he built a respected and rewarding career. Above all, he was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, Kathy, for 42 wonderful years. Although they did not have children of their own, Paul deeply cherished the time he spent with his nieces and nephews, whom he loved as if they were his own.
Paul enjoyed life’s simple pleasures — caring for his yard and garden, golfing, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He treasured the people in his life and will be deeply missed by everyone fortunate enough to know him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Ruth Williams; his brothers, Robert and David; and his twin sister, Paulette.
Paul is survived by his brothers, Harry and Donnie (Jill) Williams; his brothers-in-law, Larry and Ed Lawrence, whom he considered brothers; and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
In honoring Paul’s wishes, no services will be held at this time.
