Rhae Kathryn Zimmerman

Rhae Kathryn Zimmerman, born June 8, 1935 passed away peacefully at home on June 8, 2026, her 91st birthday, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born in Akron and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 70 years. Rhae worked as a clerk for Lockhead Martin and Goodyear Aerospace. She was an accomplished seamstress and an active member of the Rubber City Model A Club and had many lifelong friends with whom she relished spending time. Rhae was full of life and lived independently up until her passing.

Rhae is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Blanche Metcalfe; husband, George Zimmerman; brother, Russell Metcalfe; She is survived by her children, Michael, Cindy, Dale (Joanne), Frank and Randy (Jean); brother, Tim Metcalfe and one of her greatest joys, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 9-10 AM on Monday June 15, 2026 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, where a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 AM.
