Richard Butler

Richard W. Butler, lifelong resident of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 65.  He was born on May 29, 1956, in Cuyahoga Falls, son of the now-deceased Ralph and Mary (Fisher) Butler.  Richard was a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School and retired early from the City of Cuyahoga Falls Street Department.  He was a simple man who enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandson Ian. He also enjoyed woodworking, bonfires, and beer.

Richard is survived by his children, Angelee (Nik) Lapidakis, Jason (Samantha) Wiggins, Ricky (Kelsey) Rye and Scott Rye, 14 grandchildren, and many other family members and friends.

At Richard's request, cremation will take place and no services will be held.
