Richard Shank

CUYAHOGA FALLS -Richard "Tony" Shank, 69, died October 31, 2005. Mr. Shank was born in Akron and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls most of his life and at Laurel Lake in Hudson for four years. He had worked as an electrician for Bridgestone/Firestone for 35 years, had served with the U. S. Navy and was a member of VFW Bob Appleman Post.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia and is survived by his step-daughter, Sandra Rogers of Texas; step-son, Shawn Rogers of Ohio; grandson, Codi Rogers and sister, Sue Erwin of Florida.

There will be no calling hours. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, Chaplain Mary Tatman officiating. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to Falls Firefighters and Community Society, Inc. P.O. Box 189 Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44222.
