Robert Poitras

Robert R. Poitras, 80, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away on December 24, 2021.  Bob was born on August 20, 1941 in Norwich, Connecticut and resided in Jewett City, Connecticut for many years before relocating to Cuyahoga Falls.  Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from General Dynamics Electric Boat.  He later was employed at the Natatorium, where he was well known by many.  In his spare time, he enjoyed painting and wood working.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Lillian (Bryant) Poitras.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Beverly Poitras; siblings, Francis "Frank" (Nancy) Poitras, and Patricia (Kit) Steele; children, Brian (Betsy) Poitras, Tammy Poitras and Eric Poitras; stepson, Arlin (Nami) Landry; grandson, Danny Poitras; several nieces and nephews, and mother-in-law, Mabel Harris.

Per his wishes, cremation will take place and no services will be held.  He will be laid to rest privately at St. Mary's Cemetery in Connecticut.
