Sally M. Wood

Sally M. Wood, 87, passed away May 25, 2022. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents, George and Virginia Carey; husband, Clifford Wood; daughter, Janet McGuinness, and step-daughter, Michelle Bowser.

She is survived by her children, Phillip Smith, Sharon (Rick) Hardy, Daniel (Angie) Smith and Thomas (Margaret) Smith; step-daughter, Sandra Steele; step-children, Bruce (Claudia) Wood, Karin Sarai, and Gary (JoAnne) Wood; grandchildren, Matthew, David, Brant, Sonya, Katie, Daniel, Joseph, Austin, Danny, David, Abby, Alex, Mitchell, and Mallory; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Edward "Bud" (Elaine) Carey and James "Jim" (Connie) Carey; and numerous extended family members and friends.

Memorial calling hours will be held from 5-7 pm on Thursday, June 2, 2022 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.  A graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, June 3 at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park, 2613 Sackett Ave., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223.
