Sandra L Moran

Sandra Moran (nee Bond, formerly Cardille), 65, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away unexpectedly after a short illness on June 20, 2025, surrounded by family. She was born on September 20th, 1959, in Akron, Ohio to Gladys Harp. She graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1977. Sandy married the love of her life, Michael Moran, in 1995 and they just celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary in May. She worked in the medical field her whole life. As an adult, she went back to college and earned a degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Sandy worked at Rockynol in Akron, Ohio. She was a kind, loving, and generous individual who loved her patients and who was passionate about helping them live better lives. Sandy loved to golf and bowl with Mike on the Eagles Leagues, go to lunch with her girlfriends on Monday’s, meet friends for dinner, read books, work in the garden, talk on the phone, go to the casino, and most importantly, spend time with her grandchildren, supporting them at all their activities.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Michael Moran; children, Sarah (Kevin) McDonnell, Patrick (Angela) Moran, Megan (Patrick) McCrossin; siblings, Sherry Williams, Tom (Susan) Lynch, Tracey (Mark) Beckelman, J.R. Lynch, Patty (Gray) Lynch, Larry (Julie) Lynch, Patricia (Jerry) Louer, and Karen (Alan) Tilson; step-siblings Steve (Kerry) Harp, Debra (John) Vinson, Sherry Lyell; bonus siblings Traci (Kevin) Lancy, Kelli (Mark) Moles, Shawn (Mary) Cardille; grandchildren Brady Hemric, Corinne McDonnell, Zachary McDonnell, Alexandria Moran, Leighanne Moran, Reagan Flohr, Evelyn Flohr, Tavin Genda, Xavier Genda; favorite uncle, Ed (Debbie) Lee. She is preceded in death by Lyndsie Secreto, Anthony Secreto, Gladys and Roy Harp, John and Sandra Cardille, and John and Dorothy Moran.

Visiting hours will be on Thursday, June 26th from 4-7 pm at Clifford Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front Street, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 27th at 11 am at Clifford Shoemaker Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Summit County Humane Society, 752 W.
