Susan K. Kaspersen, of Cuyahoga Falls passed away on May 10, 2021 at the age of 74.  She was born in Cuyahoga Falls, the daughter of Madeline and Ernest Descutner.  She went to Cuyahoga Falls High School. Studied at Kent State and Police Supervision at Northwestern University.  She retired as Supervisor for Tallmadge Police Department in 2006.  Her hobbies and interests included literature, rock/gem stone collection, politics, history and being active on social media such as Twitter and Facebook.  She travelled the world, having been to Norway, Iceland, England, Ireland, and Australia.

Susan will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 22 years, Svein Kaspersen; her children Dean Billings with wife Debbie, Diane Devito with husband Michael, and RJ Loudon with wife Stephanie.  Her grandchildren Kylie Loudon, Joseph Devito, Madison Billings, Luke DeVito and Kira Loudon.  And her sister Valerie Fleming, with daughters Anita Newsome and Debbie Capper. Cousin Jeannine Mainville with daughters Katie Mains and Liz Murphy.  Nephews Brian and Gordon Descutner after her late brother John.  She will also be missed by her beloved pitbull Copper.

She was preceded in death by her father Ernest Descutner and mother Madeline Descutner nee Manes, her brother John Descutner, and cousin Sally Stilwell.

A celebration of Susan's life will be held privately, and she will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Susan's honor to <https://portageapl.org/>
