Tammy Ladawn Pugh, 55, of Akron, Ohio, passed away on March 28th, in the loving care of her brother Tracy Tanner and niece Dayna King of Wadsworth. Tammy was born on February 19th, 1971 in Akron to Caroline and Glenn Tanner.
Tammy graduated from Garfield High School where she became the first in her family to earn a high school diploma. She was known for being the life of the party who was able to bring a smile to the faces of everyone around her. She was a free spirit who loved family time and could often be found playing dominos with her sisters.
Tammy will be dearly missed by her Daughter Melody (Matthew) Lane, Grandchildren Genevieve Tanner-Pugh, Willow Lane, and Olivia Ramon, Siblings Ruth Lanham, Jennifer (Richard) Tanner, Tracy (Jane) Tanner, Stacy Martin, James Hall, Nieces and Nephews LaDawn (Raymond) Lanham, SunDiana Lanham, Eddie Tanner, Caroline (Richard) Gomez, Stephanie Tanner, Megan Tanner, Caroline Martin, Stacy Matin Jr, Shavantia Caigy, Jamie Long, Astacia Fitzgerald, Trevon Fitzgerald, Donavan Thyer, Aubree MacAdam, Austin MacAdam, Deon Wartower, Collin Wartower, Kaylin Wyatt, Camdon Chadima, Dayna King, Sister-in-laws Leanne MacAdam, Nancy (Alan) Wartower, Julie Chadima Friends Donna Hunt, Donna Gill, Marci Ramon, and a host of grandnieces, grandnephews, and friends.
Tammy has now been reunited with her husband Roy L Pugh II, Mother Caroline Nesbitt, Brother Herman (Crystal) Lanham, Niece Kristy Anne Clarke, Nephew Herman Clarke, Father-in-law Roy L Pugh, Grandfather-in-law Robert Welker, honorary family members Alma Street, and Suzanne Street.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 3rd, at noon at Clifford-Shoemaker funeral home in Cuyahoga Falls. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crossroads Hospice or the American Red Cross.
