CUYAHOGA FALLS -Velma Miles, 95, died at her residence March 1, 2011. Mrs. Miles was born in Akron and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls all her life and had volunteered at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital and Taylor Memorial Library.
Mrs. Miles was preceded in death by her husband, John and daughter, JoAnn McBride; she is survived by her children, Kathryn Dobbins, Susan Kivler, Barbara (Ric) Wright, Fred (Diana) Miles and Dennis (Peggy) Miles; 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no calling hours or services. Arrangements handled by Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
