William Walters

TALLMADGE- William D. Walters, 86, passed away November 5, 2005. Mr. Walters was born in Junction, IL and had resided in Akron and Tallmadge most of his life. He had been a tire builder for Goodyear Tire and Rubber, was a member of East Market Street United Church of Christ and was a Veteran of WW2 having served with the U. S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jodi Walters; sisters, Edith Beard and Nancy Sheppard and brothers, John Walters and Evert "Bud" Walters and is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ada Mae; son, Daniel Lee (Arlene) Walters of Virginia; daughters, Kathleen Louise (Norman) Siegfried of Rockford, MI, Sally Jean Andrews of Cuyahoga Falls and Deborah Lynn Thomas of Green and brothers and sisters, Harrison Walters, Annamae Greer, Hiram Walters, Laura Edwards, and Doris Morton, all of IL and aunt Marie Beeler of IL.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Wednesday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, Rev. John Phillips officiating. Friends may call for one hour prior to service time. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society 4904 Quick Rd. Peninsula, OH 44264.
